Indonesia Fixed Charge BlackBerry Data Center

Research In Motion (RIM) Ltd. may choose to build a new factory in Penang, Malaysia. But regulators in Indonesia will continue to collect this Canadian company promises to build data centers in Indonesia.

Members of the Indonesian Telecommunications Regulatory Body (BRTI) Heru Sutadi said regulators would soon summon the RIM in Indonesia to ask when the realization of the establishment of a data center. Discussion on the establishment of a data center is already in limbo for more than two years.

"Later we will call them to ask about it, his promise was in July love-making," he added in a short message on Tuesday (26/07/2011).

Regarding the development of RIM's new plant in Penang, Malaysia which have started operation in early July, Heru itself reluctant to comment further.

RIM representative in Indonesia to explain, since July 1, 2011, a number of BlackBerry smart phone devices manufactured in Penang, Malaysia. But they are reluctant to explain the reasons underlying their decision to invest in the neighboring country than in Indonesia.
